The latest researches made by CIOP showed that a problem of gender equality in Polish free labour market still remains a bit exotic. They are not treated seriously both in public and private institutions even though restricted by EU.

"ENTER" Partnership for telework, entrepreneurship and equity (http://www.enter-telework.org), Polish DPs involved in COMPASS project initiated a lot of actions to possibly eliminate gender inequality and to increase women’ opportunities in Polish labour market. The Project Partners organized several free trainings in telework for SMEs. These trainings led to the set up of 5-month “LABORATORY” – a pilot in which entrepreneurs (40 out of 159 who applied) were given the telework equipment for free (computers, furniture, internet access, cell phones…). During the project they will be also provided with legal, technical and organizational support. This initiative gathered 75% women mostly on maternal or childcare leaves or longtime unemployed.

In the nearest future the “LABORATORY” will be conducted, researches on its effectiveness and results done. Afterwards the analysis will be available on www.enter-telework.org as a report.

On the same internet site, telework offers will be available.

Soon on www.compass-equal.net the availability to take a look onto good practices in a woman reintegration into the labour market from all over the Europe will be possible.
