Donna E Avvenire - DEA (http://www.donnaeavvenire.it)

Donna E Avvenire - DEA” project’s aim is to facilitate transformation of subjects occupying disadvantaged women in local working network, into ones subjects with high connecting power, able to become social developmental activators in the community. This transition will improve the working situation of the subjects and bring positive effects in all other aspects of their lives.

They will be able to increase their occupation rate and improve their level inside the labour market. which will be involved: employment centres will be asked to provide information and recruitment; they will retain the training and orientation methods experienced. Moreover, the plans developed by the beneficiaries, will open new economic possibilities and promote changes in the system.

Project’s purposes is to transform socially disadvantaged subjects into active actors, and facilitate economic activities based on work and integration of these subjects.

Analysis of other plans shows critical points in group constitution. This issue will be important and will be pursued through psychological and support actions. While most initiatives for the development of economic activities are based on homogenous groups, our experience is based on heterogeneous, receiving different training experiences.

THE PROJECT

Nowadays in Hungary women with small children have to face a lot of difficulties if they want to return to work. According to surveys every second woman remains without a job if they stay at home for some time to care for their small child.

Employers treat them with discrimination and it is also difficult for them to provide child care while they work. This problem is even more relevant in a disadvantaged region where the number of the unemployed is high compared to the Hungarian and the European average. Many of the mothers do not even start looking for a job or they give up easily.

After a year they fall out of the dole system and as long term unemployed reintegration becomes more and more difficult. The aim of our project is to help young mothers by elaborating an innovative training and service package which would motivate them in creating their own enterprise or to find a job. The project will also promote alternative employement models already experienced in other countries among the enterprises.
